This rambling 3600 square foot house is located in APTOS in the center of a 30 acre bamboo forest. It is surrounded by walking paths, ponds and picnic areas, available for your use. It is in a secure and safe location. The house and grounds are designated no smoking.
The house is spacious, and is made up of three suites. The Mural Suite contains two bedrooms with amazing murals on the ceiling and full bathroom at the front of the house. The corner suite has one bedroom and a full bath and outside entrance with patio. The Office Suite is also two rooms with a large bath and two outside entrances. This unique layout lends itself to a range of family or sharing situations. All utilities are included in the rent except, phone, cable and internet which are available. The front and back yard is fenced.
The sunny patio in front leads into the front entry. Solid Oak french doors with bamboo patterned glass set the tone for the rest of the house.
The entry room has tall ceilings and great windows.
The office is 10 x 10 with a built in desk and bookshelves.
The next room in the house is right in the middle and can be used as a dining room. It measures 10 x 17 and contains a small coat closet. From there, the living room is on the left, kitchen in front and the Mural Suite to the right.
The Living room has a fireplace with insert in the center. The living room measures 13.5 x 32.
This bedroom has a custom doomed mural that extends across the ceiling and onto the walls. It was painted by the artist who painted the giant underwater mural at the Monterey Bay Aquarium. This room is 13.5 x 15. It has a large closet with plenty of storage.
The second bedroom is 13 x 13.5 with a nice closet. A domed mural is on the ceiling.
The bedroom includes a built-in desk and bookcases.
The Mural Suite bathroom has a vaulted ceiling and skylight.
The Corner Suite bedroom is 12 x 17 and includes a closet, bathroom and outside door to the fenced back yard.
This bathroom is off the back bedroom.
This entrance to the Office Suite can be seen here. This room is 12 x 13 and is usually used as a bedroom.
From this room, a door leads to a large room and the bathroom.
This bright room is loaded with features, including closet, built-in bookcases and skylights. This room is 12 x 27 and can be used as a bedroom, office or private living space.
One set of French doors leads out, and the other on to the covered porch and back yard.
The walk-in shower is spacious.
The bathroom and second sink.
The newly remodeled kitchen has plenty of counter and cabinet space.
The kitchen gets natural light from a gigantic skylight.
Check out the separate refrigerator and freezer.
The pantry is loaded with shelves and has enough space for an upright freezer.
The machines are NOT included in the rental , but left behind for you from the last tenant. Repairing or replacing them is your responsibility. THe hookups are gas.
Out the back door is a great patio area with a place for a barbecue and hot tub.

Now starting at the beginning, here is the front entry way. This paved area has a deep pond with lots of goldfish.
Walking toward the left is your parking area. You have a wonderful range of plants around the yard.
Here is a view from the driveway of your parking area. It is a big open paved space surrounded by bamboo.
Here is a view down your bamboo lined driveway. Although this location is surrounded by bamboo, you are not alone. A house and apartment share this driveway and location, but are well hidden. Your parking area and yards are of course your own.
Some of the great gardens along the driveway. You are located in a wonderful bamboo display garden and are free to enjoy the extensive 30 acre grounds. All the bamboo in the yard will be professionally maintained by nursery staff.
